"I volunteer to assist the agency in enriching the lives of those with cerebral palsy and other physical challenges. I enjoy meeting new people and I feel a sense of accomplishment."
- Bev McCarthy
"I enjoy volunteering for Cerebral Palsy of Mideast Wisconsin because:
- It gives me an opportunity to learn about the organization and their important role in the community.
-It gives me an opportunity to meet and work with new people.
-It gives me an opportunity to view the services that Cerebral Palsy of Mideast Wisconsin provides to and for the community.
As a retiree, I have time to volunteer my services and I enjoy the work!"
- Arline Sitter
"I have known Judy Britton for many years and we have been good friends. Knowing that I would be retiring soon, Judy recruited me as a volunteer. I came as friend to fill hours that were work hours and found myself with a group of wonderful and dedicated people to their job within the organization. I don’t work directly with the clients, but do office work and fund raisers which are a need for Cerebral Palsy. I feel by my volunteering my time in those areas, I am making a contribution to Cerebral Palsy because that way they don’t have to hire someone to fulfill those needs. I feel what I do is appreciated by the people I work with."
- Gordy Lund
"I was born with cerebral palsy, graduated from high school and worked for over thirty years for the County at Wittman Airport. After retirement and when I was no longer able to work full time, I heard from other volunteers about a need at Cerebral Palsy and it has been over three years now that I have been volunteering.
“Fifty some years ago I was there when Friendship Circle was formed, and I saw this group graduate from social events to become the first group of people, that had Cerebral Palsy, to make things out of clay, paint them and have them fired.
